The Walk
Deeply into myself
I took
the beauty of the flowers.
I drank the rain
as a marvellous wine.
In the lustre of the sun
my pores opened,
The wind glided softly
cooling over my skin.
My ears heard
the sound of life,
my eyes discovered
the fullness of creation.
My heart and my soul
sensed the resonance
of the everlasting being.
Full with pious amazement
I turned my steps home.
