The Apple Pickers

Reaching up for the red ripe fruit,
The seasonal workers are in the field.
Some are up on ladders,
Others are down kneeled.
Gathering their crates,
Filled with tasty loot,
They’re piling up their wicker baskets,
Ready for the Friday markets.
