Hendrik Sollich

an old man's eye

an old man's eye
fearful yet frightful its sight
calm oftly and full pride
pins to the left - to the right
an old man's eye
countless the shapes that it's seen
doubtless each colour has been
a memory burried so deep
behind an old man's eye
