Peter Asige

Priceless Stars

Freedom I have
Youth isn’t spent spares a grubby 5 euros
Worth of chances.
That whore there will never do.
Cracking open a can at 8 am
Such criticism
Even in her eyes.
The suit gets a smile and pretends it’s real.
The engine driver says hello, Hola!
Hola!
Last week in London it rained cats and dogs
Tourist buying umbrellas
Cervera in June Sibo hid from the sun
The wealth of shadows
Cold beers, and
Uncensored night skies.
Peace also.
