REFLECTIONS OF A COBALT SKY

Do not allow
your face eclipses
in the evanescence
of a swirl of memories.
I ask you to inlay,
on a mystic canvas,
sparkling diamonds,
reflections of a cobalt sky.
Paste to my heart
your smile of an exotic muse.
Do not allow
your face to eclipse,
like sweet memory,
in the swirls of the pain-killing river Lète.
On my parched lips,
write
poems of love,
verses that fly into the universe,
up there,
where the sun,
where the stars,
never turn to set,
in a hyaline magic
of drops of frost,
of reflections
of iridescent galaxies.

Do not let
your face eclipse itself
among kaleidoscopes,
among squiggles
of lights,
among embroideries
of thirsty eyes.
I sense
the lacerating yearning,
the saltiness
of oceanic waves
that carry away
your melodic voice,
your breath,
aromatic
lily in spring.
You are
lysergic breeze,
Dionysian elixir
of this my
exhilarating,
lacerating
delirium.
You are.
