Marc Backhaus

Cookie

Out of the jar
and onto my au-
nt's cousin's Wookie
plush toy fell a cookie.

Instantly smelling
all eyes turned to telling
from where this cookie scent
went.

A hungry mumble
for every crumble
even from the bumble
bee
situated outside the windowglass

Where is this all leading?
Because I would've just already eaten the cookie had it all really happened.
