Stranger in the Night

Stranger in the night – you were my lover
tender soft and bright – we loved each other
and it was so right – for strangers in the night

On and on we went – enjoying every moment
full of love and joy – knowing that we were made for each other

Suddenly one day – we both did not want it
our love was not any more granted
and our ways drifted apart

Ever since that day – you are still in my heart
as if we never went apart

Maybe once one day – the shadow will drift away
showing your longing  – which will bring us close again
knowing from now on – that we will never part again

Stranger in the night
it will be so right
