John, the revelator

 

John, the revelator

stood by the subway trains,

he sang a song for later,

he whisteled, as it rained.

 

The man, He came along,

he called him by his name.

They both fell in to the same tune,

they smiled in joy and shame.

 

"A shabby place, to meet again.",

the man, he said ironic.

"But a good tune in the right place",

said John, "makes you iconic."

 

So both they sang, the people cheerd,

they both stayed undiscovered,

that's what they do, when things get weird,

when no one takes, what's offered.
