Norman Möschter

Fun back then

Man, did we have fun back then.
I remember, this was when
we still knew what fun was, back then.

Now there's work 'n' restrictions,
emergency removals, forced evictions,
constant unrest everywhere and constant contradictions.

If only I could travel back in time.
It was better then, don't ask me when.
It was better then.
Felt warm and smelt like thyme.

Justice seemed to be worth a thing.
All died, came back anew in spring,
new and fresh and flowering.

It's not the man-made hurricane,
that every one is pointing at, it's not to blame.
It's not your fault, not mine,
but there we are - in line.
