Justine Knolle

Brats

Little kids, in their little coats,
playing with
their electric boats.
Balloons tied
to their glovd hands,
shiny shoes, expensive brands.
They go home for tea and cake;
freshly brewed, home made bake.
Later, in their beds,
they dream
of birthday parties, and ice-cream.

I was sitting in the town square yesterday afternoon, and a bunch of kids were running around with balloons. I had to laught to myself, as they looked like mini Michelin men all wrapped up in their wadded coats :-)Authors comment
