Justin Barnard

Take this as you may

Why does the rain pour so hard,
So early in the day?
How can the snow fall so deep,
So soon in the season?
The other side isn't so green.
The grass doesn't grow here either.
It's okay if you stare,
We don't mind so much anymore.
We know its not the prettiest place,
           In your mind.
           In your eyes.
           Or in my
heart
