Nino Oval

Soneto número 11

Cuando llega la noche silenciosa,

salen las almas buscando consuelo,

sirve de guía el búho con su vuelo

para encontrar la codiciada cosa.

Valorada como gema preciosa, 

tiene dulce sabor de caramelo;

más tarde, néctar agrio de pomelo

y efímera vida como la rosa.

Hoguera que quema muchos lamentos,

reconforta las almas oprimidas,

como la suave brisa de los vientos;

aunque no cauterice las heridas

que le produce los duros tormentos,

es un alivio para muchas vidas.
