The Moment of Truth in Love and Pain

In the heat of the moment
There is a cry out for help
Tormented and torturous nights follow
This is the end of something so bitter-sweet
Or is it?

We'll hold each others hand
just one more time
And their whispers linger behind us
"Their love should end"

Another cry
Another hand held
It's too much for one person to bear
They have heard the wolf
But he is never seen

Set them free
There isn't anymore room for bitter moments
"Let the love die" - they say
But it never does
