Claudio Micale

Windsmere Morning

This silence is catching my heart
There's nothing else there:
The hills, the lake, the trees
Seagulls a' moving in

How would it be to live up there
In the hills of forty greens
The glittering lake just an outline
Far on the horizon?

Embrace me, nature
As I am embracing you
And your voice will be heard
Through all the years.
