A Darkness Awakes

A Darkness Awakes

Shadows on the ground
Whispers all around
Of you there's no sight, no sound
Peace profound...
Don't turn around
Go to ground
Flee from the hound

If I'm good
I know I could
Do my very best, I would
Would he still shove?
Before the pub
After the pub
He would, he does
My body blood

My innocence take
My soul breaks
A claim to stake, and bloody rape
Leave in wake
My childhood remake
A darkness awakes
My foundation shakes
Choices to make
