Love

Love is warm and love is hot
love means kissing every spot
love is sleeping arms entwined
love is you -you read my mind

love you, man, with all my heart
never let us grow apart
love you so with all my might
in your eyes I see the light

stay with me a century
dearest man, how I love thee !

Thank you, dear readers !
3 days ago I submitted my poem "love", and more than
170 people have read it by now.I am amazed and grateful.
Writing a poem about love is tricky - you ask yourself:
is it possible to write about a topic that every poet on earth has raved and sung about? Are my words common place, cheesy or boring ?
But I tried, and hope you feel the same when reading my poem. When love touches you, it is both unique and a feeling you share with mankind.
I dedicate it to my husband of 42 years - and to all
people in love on this planet
